about

The loitering Pattern Gate drummers, present in the Chatusra and Tisra Smilings, exit without fanfare. Enough going on already in this misra (7-based) hymn to optimism.

The koruppu or shortening trades, here in a 6 jati, occur early. I think I'm getting a better grip on what koruppu customs are.

Instead of a real korvai to finish, I put in a little beauty ('din -') with an expanding tail:

din - ta din - ta ka din - ta ki ta din -
1 2 3 4 5 6 7

The tail growing from ta to ta ka to ta ki ta (like a river mouth) also can diminish, like a cow's tail, from ta ki ta to ta ka to ta. Ranga showed me this piece.
